La toxoplasmosis es una enfermedad infección que puede pasar desapercibida ya que a los adultos les afecta como un resfriado: molestias de garganta y a veces fiebre.

Si no la has pasado, tendrás que tomar las siguientes medidas:
1. Lavar bien las verduras y hortalizas antes de comerlas.
2. No comer carne o pescado crudo o poco hecho. Esto incluye a los embutidos, sushi, boquerones en vinagre, esqueixada de bacalao... Puedes comerlos siempre que los hayas congelado previamente. Por experiencia no te recomiendo que congeles el jamón, lomo o chorizo. No es lo mismo, se pierde el sabor y la textura, pero si tienes antojo...
3. No comer queso de los tipos: brie, camembert, roquefort, queso azul...
4. Si tienes gato, comprobar que no está afectado por la enfermedad, puesto que puede contagiarte a través de sus heces. Normalmente no es común que un gato que vive en casa tenga la enfermedad pero es importante comprobarlo y es absolutamente imprescindible hacerlo si el gato pasa ratos fuera en casas con jardín, etc.
